Running advice to achieving a safe achievement.

Running is a great thing if you want to get healthier, and by that I mean you must approach running with respect. Otherwise you will most probably fail, suffer or injure yourself.

So what can you do to take precautions to lessen the chances of any injury?

My advice is to do mini runs, be it round the block first and then slowly extend your distance over a course of time.

You must select good trainers otherwise you can damage your feet.

When running keep your feet close to the ground, avoid ramming them into the ground just to get somewhere quickly.

Expect to do a mile in fifteen to twenty minutes at best the first time you run, you can eventually speed up.

Carry a little bit of water, a stopwatch and a phone if you do go far away.

Do a warm up, stretches and any limbering will warm up your muscles.

Make sure your distance is not set to high or else you will suffer bad morale and most probably not achieve the target.

Allow set backs, but at the same time try aim for some sort of victory condition, even if it is to achieve an extra minute less per mile after a period of time like two months training.

Make more time in your life to run, get in the shape of your life, burn fat faster and double your endurance by getting fit and running. You could also lose weight.
