Recreational scuba diving is known to be an encouraging and fashionable activity nowadays. Considering a holiday trip we often take under our concern possibility of making underwater explorations with aqua-lung. Often, a diving course is a crucial element of our trip’s program. However, such commercial trainings often fail to equip us with a good sort of knowledge. What matters is good fun, and informational minimalism. Moreover, recreational diving we may consider rather safe. The single greatest safety factor in open water recreational diving is that, no matter what happens, divers can always make an independent, controlled, emergency swimming ascent (so-called ESA) to the surface. The risk of equipment malfunction, loss of breathing gas supply, loss of budy, etc. is big in recreational diving, but there are two factors which make it relatively safe:
1.Open water divers who remain within the recommended depth limits for recreational diving are usually less than thirty meters from the surface, and never more than forty meters. Emergency swimming ascents would be significantly more difficult if recreational divers ventured farther form the surface or entered overhead areas.
2.With exploration of certain recreational-level specialty diving activities, open water divers are never under overhead obstructions that would prevent them from making an immediate and direct ascent to the surface.
